Our school is always committed to improving the environment, a symbol of quality of life and future for the rising generation.
Two years ago we were joined to the Network for Sustainability Schools in Sant Boi and Catalonia. The last year we joined Euronet 50/50 and this year we are working on it.
The project's main objective is the change in attitudes of all the education community regarding energy savings together with other schools in Europe.
We have signed an agreement with the Town Hall. We had meetings with the council’s workers and we are doing an energy audit at the school by a council technician. Energy committee has been formed (representatives of 5th and 6th grade students, teachers representatives, parents representatives and partners such as the caretaker, the cooks and the cleaning staff.
We just did the school “Energy tour” with a technician who explained the whole energy process at school.
Everybody is sensitized about the topic.
If there is enough money in the Town Hall, we will make the needed changes in the switches and the heating in order to improve the energy efficiency.
